Two Weeks, Time is Short

I cannot believe I will be living in NY in just 11 days. Feelings to describe my state of mind: scared, excited, and clearly not ready. I know it will be ok once I get there, (or maybe not). Steve keeps telling me things to do to get ready. I want to ROLL MY EYES AND YELL SHUT UP. This hurts to say but HE IS RIGHT. Yes Steve, I said you were right. Copy it off the computer and keep it close to your heart. I may never admit it again.

My Italian is doing great, if I don't have to come up with sentences. I hope classes will put together all that I soaked up using rosetta stone.

We had a great beach weekend. It will be the last time my family will be together before I leave. We managed to get along for 2 and 1/2 days. We all must be getting older. A great time was had by all.

  1. Well, you can leave now !! I'm ready to follow you on this great adventure. You must promise to tell all! After 23 years of you being in charge of my hair I'm still trying to find the Yvonne replacement. I'm on my first one and am giving her three chances. Two down, one to go. She just doesn't get it. I miss you and my hair misses you too. Have a fabulous adventure, girlfriend.

  6. Everything sounds amazing.Even the dirty apartment. Dirty or not it's still an adventure, which I am a big fan. Can't wait for the next update so write soon. We here in Mundane Town need a little excitement even if it is via blog.

  11. ciao Yvonne,
Sembra come se si sta iniziando a sentirsi a casa a New York! le descrizioni cibo mi fanno la fame. E 'difficile credere che avete fatto così tanto in così breve tempo.
    sembra tutto meraviglioso.
